About Us
Campus
Kadima Hebrew Academy has now moved to its permanent home on the beautiful Evenhaim Family Campus. For thirty-three years, we have delivered our outstanding education program in rented facilities. We now finally have the facility that matches our program. We nurture compassionate, moral, and socially responsible Jewish children of diverse backgrounds in grades Pre-K through Eight. We are dedicated to academic excellence as well as fluency and critical analysis in all areas of study. We strive to instill a love of tradition, while celebrating the new vistas presented by modernity.
Academic excellence includes the idea that children attain mastery in the various parts of our program: language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, Hebrew language, technology, art, music, dance and physical education. Mastery generates self-confidence as children learn to argue their positions, express ideas cogently, solve scientific problems, create artistic interpretations of their musings, and conduct complex conversations in Hebrew. Excellence also encourages a passion for learning as we cheer each child’s success.
Academic endeavors are balanced with character education. Values like human dignity, peace, and honor permeate our environment. Values discussions are overt and taught carefully. Staff and children are held accountable to these values, and value exemplars are celebrated regularly and spontaneously.
Kadima is now located at 7011 Shoup Avenue in West Hills. Our new site is one half block south of Sherman Way. For further information or to schedule a personal tour, please call our Director of Admissions, Bronwyn Spencer, at (818) 346-0849.
